What it does
You walk six floors of a wholesale market in China and photograph four hundred things. sourca keeps each one with its shop, its shop number and its price on your phone, with no internet, and uploads the lot when you are back on Wi-Fi.
- Capture in the market. A photo and the yuan price, and your selling price appears as you type.
- Price it. Your own multiplier and exchange rate, so the true cost and the margin are there before you commit.
- Build the order. Tick what you want and it becomes an order list per shop, and the packing list your forwarder works from.
- Receive it into stock. When the goods land, the order becomes inventory.
Why it is built this way
Markets are concrete and signal is poor, and a lot of what a phone expects to reach is blocked in China. So the phone is the source of truth while you are buying, a bad connection can never lose a capture, and nothing here depends on a service that may not answer.
